The new Legal Requirements
Builders/Remodelers Licensing Laws PDF Print E-mail

Under Public Act 157 of 2007 (PA 157) it is now necessary to complete 60 hours of approved courses before the licensing exam can be taken.  Preparation for the licensing exam is included in all of our courses. (The State of Michigan is not approving online/distance learning courses at this time.) Effective June 1, 2008, anyone holding a builder's or maintenance and alterations contractor's license is required to have a copy of the current Michigan Residential Code book.
